Announcement on the Crimean Platform Summit Press Tour!

International journalists are encouraged to join the Crimean Platform summit press tour scheduled for August 23rd in Kyiv!

The Crimean Platform is Ukraine's diplomatic initiative aiming at establishing an international mechanism that will bring the Crimean issue back to the international agenda, help protect human rights on the temporarily occupied peninsula, and contribute to its eventual de-occupation.

The press tour will be held on 22-24 August. The participating journalists will have an opportunity to: 

  • attend the Crimean Platform summit;
  • meet Ukraine's MFA representatives;
  • meet members of Mejlis, the representative and executive body of the Crimean Tatar people;
  • watch feature and documentary movies about Crimea;
  • participate in tours/joint lunches/discussions with Crimean Tatar activists;

To apply for participation, please, fill in a short form till Friday, August 6.

The organizers will cover all costs related to travelling, accommodation and catering for the participants.

Please note that the number of places for the press tour is limited; if the number of candidates exceeds the number of places, a selection process will be conducted.
